bug report: loopback device

From: Dave Poirier (eks@void-core.2y.net)
Date: Sat Nov 24 2001 - 15:26:44 EST

[1.]
Unmounting a loopback file system doesn't save the changes in the file

[2.]
I mount a file "ext2.flp" under /floppy as an ext2 file system, copy
a file "u3core.bin" to /floppy.

If I list /floppy, u3core.bin shows up.

umount /floppy. ls /floppy, u3core.bin does not show up, as expected.

mount ext2.flp under /floppy and list the files, u3core.bin isn't there.
The file system was never saved back on disk at unmount.

[3.]
loopback, ext2, umount
