module : QM_INFO: Invalid argument

I got this after recompiling lmsensors for 2.4.17 with the rmap 11b
patch.

Here's the part from sensors-detect:

We can start with probing for (PCI) I2C or SMBus adapters.
You do not need any special privileges for this.
Do you want to probe now? (YES/no):
Probing for PCI bus adapters...
Use driver `i2c-viapro' for device 00:07.4: VIA Technologies VT82C686 Apollo ACPI
Use driver `i2c-riva' for device 01:00.0: GeForce2 MX
Probe succesfully concluded.

We will now try to load each adapter module in turn.
Load `i2c-viapro' (say NO if built into your kernel)? (YES/no):
/lib/modules/2.4.17/misc/i2c-viapro.o: module : QM_INFO: Invalid argument
Loading failed ()... skipping.
Load `i2c-riva' (say NO if built into your kernel)? (YES/no):
modprobe: module : QM_INFO: Invalid argument
Loading failed ()... skipping.
** Note: i2c-riva module is available at
** http://drama.obuda.kando.hu/~fero/cgi-bin/rivatv.shtml
Do you now want to be prompted for non-detectable adapters? (yes/NO):

For some reason, lsmod doesn't work either:

[0101][root@thunderbird:detect]$ lsmod

lsmod: module : QM_INFO: Invalid argument

[0107][root@thunderbird:detect]$ cat /proc/modules

snd-mixer-oss 8560 0 (autoclean) [snd-pcm-oss]

soundcore 3536 6 (autoclean) [snd]

I suppose the unnamed module is the problem. I tried searching Google,
but I've only found this mentioned in 2.4.0-pre6. If it's the same bug,
why it's still there? Or it's my fault?
