2.5.14 IDE+TCQ+Reiserfs kernel bug

From: Carlo Scarfoglio (scarfoglio@arpacoop.it)
Date: Mon May 06 2002 - 16:42:11 EST

I just compiled and installed 2,5,14 with Tagged command queue, TCQ on
by default enabled and Default queue depth = 32.
I have an ASUS A7V 333 (Promise 20276) with a IBM DTLA 307030 connected
to the Promise controller (see boot.msg below).
The disks is reiserfs formatted. I use it for backups. I mounted it with
kernel 2.5.14 and tied to copy a 100MB file to it. It stopped at 40%
with the above message. It cannot be unmounted. I'll try to reboot to
see what damage it has suffered.
