[PATCH][COMPAT] compat_uptr_t and compat_ptr 1/3 Generic + ppc64 + sparc64 + x86_64 + s390x + parisc

Hi Linus,

Here is the patch against 2.5.65 that creates compat_uptr_t (to represent
a user mode pointer passed to the kernel other than as a syscall
parameter) and compat_ptr() to convert it to a kernel pointer.

This fixes a couple of bugs in s390x (where the conversion of pointers
actually does something).

The diffstat looks like this:

This part include all the architectures on the subject line as they have
all given me their blessing to send these patches directly to you. Do you
want them like this (in one patch) or split up per architecture?

This patch applies against 2.5.65 except for the ia64 and mips64
parts which require a previous patch - but still apply with some fuzz.

The ia64 and mips64 architecture patches follow separately.
