[PATCH] 2.4.23-pre3-bk fix ver_linux script to work with recentreiserfsprogs.

From: Steven Cole
Date: Thu Sep 11 2003 - 08:46:51 EST

Recent reiserfsprogs report the version number in a different format
than before, causing the present ver_linux script to not report the
version number.

This patch allows scripts/ver_linux to work with these newer versions,
while maintaining backward compatibility with the older versions. This
was tested with reiserfsprogs 3.x.0j, 3.6.8, 3.6.10, and 3.6.11.
