Framebuffer Bug in kernel. 2.4.20-????

Hello,
When i try to use the frambuffer option i get only a black screen.
System: 
	CPU: P4HT 3GHz
	Chipset: Intel 875
	Video GeForce FX 5600
Kernel option vga=791
When i try the videocard in anoter maschine it works. But not with the 875
Chipset.
What can i do?
