mass-storage borks on 2.6.0-test9/mm3

This happens when connecting a Fujifilm FinePix 2400 to the USB port to
read the SmartMedia card.

This method works with 2.4.22, but not with 2.6.0-test9 nor
2.6.0-test9-mm3.

Any thoughts?
