RE: 2.6.8.1-mm4

From: Sid Boyce
Date: Sun Aug 22 2004 - 23:42:56 EST

It only boots with acpi=off, hangs after outputting "starting sound driver: intel8x0", but looks like an ACPI bug. Tried pci=routeirq and pci=noacpi also.
Athlon 3000+/512M, Asus A7N8X-E, nForce2 chipset.

Regards
Sid.

PCI: Using ACPI for IRQ routing
** PCI interrupts are no longer routed automatically. If this
** causes a device to stop working, it is probably because the
** driver failed to call pci_enable_device(). As a temporary
** workaround, the "pci=routeirq" argument restores the old
** behavior. If this argument makes the device work again,
** please email the output of "lspci" to bjorn.helgaas@xxxxxx
