x86_64 2.6.x problem

Hi there,
I have a "private" static binary that works on 32bit system and
on a 2.4.x kernel 64bit system.
With the 2.6.x kernel 64bit it doesn't work.
Here some output:

Processor 3400+ AuthenticAMD
Kernel 2.6.9
gentoo 2004.3
