Ok, this one.

I do not know what is going wrong. swsusp seems to work for
people... or at least it works for me. Here's my .config, perhaps you
have something unusual?

I do have CONFIG_PM_STD_PARTITION="/dev/hda1", perhaps that's
neccessary?
