[PATCH] gcc-4.0 compatibility fixes for i386, m68k, ppc64, x86_64

From: Dan Kegel
Date: Sat Mar 19 2005 - 18:21:27 EST

gcc-4.0 fails with
"error: array type has incomplete element type"
(see http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2005-02/msg00053.html)
on several files in linux-2.6.11.3.

Who knows, maybe all this is fixed in the -mm tree already,
but what the heck, here are a few fixes I haven't seen anyone
else post yet. These fix build problems for me, and
are all trivial. I haven't tested the resulting binaries.

See also related sets of fixes at
http://user.it.uu.se/~mikpe/linux/patches/2.6/patch-gcc4-fixes-v2-2.6.11
and
http://archives.andrew.net.au/lm-sensors/msg29809.html
I don't duplicate any of those here, I think.
