So maybe something like this:

{
struct ins_replace_args parms;
parms.addr = p->addr;
parms.insn = BREAKPOINT_INSTRUCTION

preempt_disable();
smp_call_function(smp_replace_instruction, &parms, 0, 1);
preempt_enable();
}
