libata-bug in 2.6.21.5 on amd64 with ali chipset

From: Hemmann, Volker Armin

Hi,

this is on an amd64 gentoo system (with march=k8 -02 msse3 -pipe as CFLAGS aka
sane ones).

with kernel 2.6.21.5 my dvd burner locks up the computer when k3b starts.

k3b
(this is of course captured without libata)

energyman@energy ~ $ kdecore (KAction): WARNING:

at this point it locks up. Everything is dead. Keyboard, mouse, - I
have acpid running, when the pwbutton is hit, it changes to vt2 and it does
not work too.

Without libata and the 'normal' ide drivers the burner works.

The 2.6.21.5 is patched with cfs v18 and reiser4.
