error msg: RPC MTAB does not exist

Help, Im building a kernel, and Im getting these two errors during
he boot:

	RPC MTAB does not exist
	module sunrpc not found

Im at a loss to figure out what option Im missing in xconfig.

Can someone tell me what Im missing.
