Cool.  May make sense to use simpler formatting in the kernel, and use 
trace-cmd plugins for the complicated cases.

It does raise issues with ABIs.  Can trace-cmd read plugins from 
/lib/modules/*?  We can then distribute the plugins with the kernel.
