BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request

I've been seeing some rather strange OOPSes and BUG messages from my older
AMD machine. Here is just the latest one, which didn't actually cause the
entire machine to lock up solid.

I've done a memtest, and it was solid, so actual memory errors seems to
be unlikely.
