Well, they end up calling __send_signal().

Eh, yeah, so we do have to use the user_ns_map_uid(), or rather your
new helper.

But you sound more alarmed than that.  So I might be missing something.
You think that user_ns_map_uid() at the locations I identified in
kernel/signal.c does not suffice?
