One more nit. If you did

+ select ACPI_GENERIC_SLEEP if ACPI_SLEEP

here (and above for ia64), you'd avoid having to make ACPI_SLEEP
depend on ACPI_GENERIC_SLEEP which goes somewhat backwards.
