[V4.0-rc5 Regression] drm/intel problem

The display remains dark in V4.0-rc5 except of a small white line
at the top of the screen so I can't see anything. RC4 was good.
The latest good kernel that I know of is at least
4.0.0-rc4-00199-gb314aca.
