I reproduced this on the kernel which has no code related to MADV_FREE:

mmotm-2015-10-15-15-20-no-madvise_free, IOW it means git head for
54bad5da4834 arm64: add pmd_[dirty|mkclean] for THP so there is no
MADV_FREE code in there
+ pte_mkdirty patch
+ freeze/unfreeze patch
+ do_page_add_anon_rmap patch
