[8086:0416] i915 Inability to drive internal (eDP) panel since 4.7 final

Good morning,

Could you please CC me on any replies as I am not subscribed to this
mailing list.

Recent i915 development appears to have stopped my eDP panel from being
driven correctly. The last working release was 4.6.7; any 4.7 kernel
will not drive the screen and 4.8-RC3 does not drive the screen either.
I have both 4.6.7 and 4.8.0-rc3 kernel images available and am happy to
run any debug/troubleshooting that you require.

The video card in question is:

It is in a Fujitsu E744 with a 1366x768 panel, which does not appear to
have EDID information if I am reading this right:

The panel backlight is on, but the screen is black. The kernel is
running normally and behaves as if the output is being driven.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Regards,
Tony V.
