[PATCH 3.16 222/366] virtio_console: don't tie bufs to a vq

From: Ben Hutchings
Date: Sun Oct 14 2018 - 11:32:19 EST

3.16.60-rc1 review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.

------------------

From: "Michael S. Tsirkin" <mst@xxxxxxxxxx>

commit 2855b33514d290c51d52d94e25d3ef942cd4d578 upstream.

an allocated buffer doesn't need to be tied to a vq -
only vq->vdev is ever used. Pass the function the
just what it needs - the vdev.
