[PATCH][next] w1_therm: remove redundant assignments to variable ret

From: Colin King
Date: Tue May 19 2020 - 11:45:57 EST

From: Colin Ian King <colin.king@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

The variable ret is being initialized with a value that is never read
and it is being updated later with a new value. The initialization
is redundant and can be removed.

Addresses-Coverity: ("Unused value")
