With fin_freq now being unsigned, this ------------' should be a 'd'.

If you want to still extend your fixes series: A bit further below there
is

cnt = div_u64(fin_freq * period, NSEC_PER_SEC);

. The multiplication there might overflow. This should better use
mul_u64_u64_div_u64() (or one of it's variants).
