reboot problem with cyclades

I've got several PCI Pentium motherboards, and I have problems
re-booting.

Specifically, the Cyclades card does not get detected reliably.
I have to power down, then reset the computer to get it to be
detected.

Also, the machine doesn't warm boot properly - ctrl-alt-del is not
enough to reboot the machine, it requires a reset. This problem seems
to be caused by the SMC 8013 ethernet card. But once the system is
running, it all works fine.

Anymone else have problems with systems not rebooting properly?

Is there anything that can be done for the Cyclades board not being
detected (a more aggressive probe)?

In addition to the Cyclades board and SMC ethernet, I've got
Adaptec 2940 PCI SCSI, ATI Mach 64 PCI video installed.
