Ok. :) I got the new pppd 2.2b off ftp.netcom.com and it has a function
for idle-timeout built into it. <Although I think it should be an option
instead of hard coded like it is>. There's an undocumented <as far as I
could tell> variable in one of the source files called idle_timeout or
something like that. You just set it to the number of seconds you want
it to timeout after being idle and compile. Works like a charm.
