Sanyo CDR C3 G

I have a Sanyo 3 Disk changer in my Gateway P5-120 machine, 2940
Controller, ATI Mach64/2Meg VRAM and have been working to get access to
the drive. I have compiled in the IDE/ATAPI support, and it finds the
drive as hdc (It is connected to port 0 of secondary controller). I have
added an entry in fstab with the ISO9660 ro attributes. When the unit
boots, it initially thinks that it is a harddrive, gives an error
message that it cannot read partition table, incorrect block size, etc,
and then continues on. I then can read the CDROM ok. This seems a little
sloppy in that it thinks it's a harddrive. This only allows me access to
the first platter in the drive. Is there any way to access the other two
platters with the current drivers, or will there have to be a specialized
driver developed for this CDROM Drive ?
Thanks
