per a message I just got back after having posted it Tuesday, does this suggest
that the mail coming to my mail server is slow, or that majordomo decided to
wait 4 days before sending me this message?

BTW, it DID take 4 days to reach me...this isn't a problem with the
hosts having their clocks wrong.
