freezing of rsh attempts

With the newer 1.3.x Kernels there is the effect, that rsh to the linux
box hangs after long time with no net activity.

the rsh attempt on my sun hangs.

How i cure it:

If i fire up rsh to my sun from linux and exit it, the rsh login
succeeds at once. Strange!
