That's what Intel is still telling everyone despite my attempts to correct them.
The linux kernel, 1.2.xx and 1.3.xx, is immune to the various bugs of the
RZ1000 chip, *unless* you (the user) are also using "hdparm -u1" on one or
more IDE devices.
The latest (current) Linux 1.3.xx kernels include code to detect the RZ1000
and to disable the buggy pre-fetch mechanism, enabling safe use of "hdparm -u1"
and other performance options.
