Doesn't find 3c509 Card

I've install Linux with the SCSINET1 (Version 2.3) kernal and it will find
my SCSI Card and drives but It will not find the ethernet card. I'v tried
all I know (which is not much) any ideas would greatly be appreicated.

My ethernet card is located at IRQ 3, 0x300. I've tried passing the
varables during boot with Lilo with no luck -> LILO : ether,3,0x300,eth0
I also tried modifing the lilo.conf file to include the ethernet varables
with no luck.
