Hmm.. I'm currently in the process of compiling gcc-2.7.1 myself, to
try that out. In the meantime I'm rather suspicious of reports about
kernels compiled with it, especially as I haven't heard any similar
stories from anybody else yet.
If this is repeatable, please consider downgrading to gcc-2.7.0 and
seeing if the errors go away.
