I recently wrote an X based Mixer under 1.2.13 when i upgraded my kernel
to 1.3.42 I am suddenly getting ioctl errors and my program exits... i
tried recompiling it and it still doesnt work... it is shared ELF BTW
using the Xforms library....

I heard there was something changed in ioctl's in 1.3.41 or
thereabouts... what i was wondering was whether its a problem with my
program (i.e. I'm not checking for something i should...) or the new
kernel and it will be fixxed???? you can get my program from
