ps -u problem

I am running kernel 1.3.62 on a Pentium 133.
There still is the floating point error on 'ps -u'

1)pokie: /home/peakie/sen% ps -u
USER PID %CPU %MEM SIZE RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
Floating exception

Is there a specific patch for this?

Please respond directly by e-mail since I am not getting any
linux-kernel stuff.
