Hi!
I unfortunatly have one of the motherboards which DOES not remap the top
384k of the first meg of ram to the top of memory, i can turn off BIOS
shadowing but it still doesnt free up that memory..
my question is whether the linux kernel (v 1.3.63 now) has the ability to
reclaim this ram? i know there was a patch a while ago that could do this
but it requred loadlin I believe? or something like that...
in any case this would be very helpful if it were possible...
thanx for the input...
John
