Re: console.c: scrolling bug found

I don't use scrolling, but I have occasionally noticed screens of weird
stuff appearing for a split second when changing VCs. For instance, a
screen mostly filled with "@"s in some color. Anyway, the important
thing is that I don't have a Cirrus card. I have a Chips and
Technologies 65540 chip in a notebook computer. I agree that the bug
doesn't do any real damage except that it hurts your credibility when
you're trying to convince someone that Linux is stable and relatively
bug-free.
