after stripping my binaries with strip 2.6.0.7 and messing at
least 50% of them up, I have an mostly working system now. I need to know
what is the first file that is read/executed upon telnetting to a
linux machine. another related problem is after telnetting to my machine,
doing a finger does not show me telnetting in from whereever in fact
finger does not show me at all. finger returns open xterm sessions and
that's it. it does not register VC logins either... what binary do i have
to fix.
