These look quite old here:

(except for AIC7xxx-Feb10.tar.gz, but that's an ELF boot image , not a.out,
with a patch for Linux 1.3.61 which looks like v 2.2)

1.3.64 - 66 use:
* $Id: aic7xxx.c,v 2.22 1996/02/10 09:22:50 deang Exp deang $

(don't have 1.3.63 at hand, but I think the change came in at 1.3.64)

1.3.49 - 62 (and likely 63) use:
* $Id: aic7xxx.c,v 2.15 1995/12/17 19:43:20 deang Exp $

1.3.31 - 48 use:
* $Id: aic7xxx.c,v 2.10 1995/11/10 10:49:14 deang Exp $

prior to that it was aic7xxx.c,v 2.1aic7xxx.c,v 2.0 for the early 1.3.x
(but I don't have all the source trees for those)

I know I didn't have any problems before 1.3.64. It only arises with
1.3.65 and 1.3.66 (v 2.22).

Where is the newer 2.22 code in full rather than just patches? - i.e. from
you rather than from the Linux tree. If something has happened along the
way with patches into the Linux tree, it would be nice to obtain a full
aic7xx tree from you directly.

Thanks,
