I got similar underflow problems too with the 1.3.57 kernel. But I have
yet to have a bad crash on it so far.
These are my errors
aic7xxx: Target 0 underflow - Wanted (at least) (4096) got(3072) count(1).
aic7xxx: Target 0 underflow - Wanted (at least) (4096) got(3072) count(1).
aic7xxx: Target 0 underflow - Wanted (at least) (1024) got(512) count(1).
aic7xxx: Target 0 underflow - Wanted (at least) (4096) got(1536) count(1).
