1.3.6x, Netscape dies and httpd doesn't work.

I also had netscape 2.0 die on me when I did an on-line change of
password. I also found I got lots of bad connections but that seems to
have gone from about 1.3.65 onwards.

Further, in recent kernels (up to 1.3.67), I haven't been able to get
NCSA httpd running (1.3.20 was fine).

The error I get is:

A network error occurred while Netscape was receiving data
(Network Error: Broken pipe)

and this is accompanied in the log file by:

[Wed Feb 21 11:12:37 1996] child error: child connection closed

- unless I run as root in which case it still doesn't work but I don't
get these errors.

Anybody else get this?
