1.3.66 Problems

I've a slew of 'em within hours of building 1.3.66. Had X running with
Mozzila up, reading the mail, walked away for a while, came back and the
mouse wouldn't work in ONE window, but only one direction, (window would
scroll DOWN, but not UP.) (and can someone tell me how to get my
closing paren back) <- thats what I get for a close paren. Anyway, I
CABksp to get to a text window, and all I have is CAPS, no matter what
Caps Lock or shift were doing. I tried CAScroll Lock, All those neat
things that I've read about lately, nothing worked, Heres the good one
though, when I CAD meminfo ran IN TEXT MODE! The BIG RED SWITCH did
work, I'd give up if that didn't;<)
For awhile, I was getting Drive not ready errors, etc. and alot of
keyboard errors with 1.3.xx- 1.3.62 but with 1.3.64 these seem to have
gone away. Machine was up over 3 days with NO problems, upgraded to
1.3.66 yesterday and things are back with a vengence. But no "Reset by
Peer" networking type of messages...

This next one is one I'm not sure if it's my problem or what, I changed
CDROMs from a IDE to my Sony CDU33a. now when I try to mount it, I get a
message sonycd is not a block device. What do I do? What should the
Major and minor #'s be for it? I had this on another system once, and it
seems that I had a /dev/cdu33a device, not a sonycd. Any help?
