First impressions with 1.3.68

Ok, 1.3.68 seems to be running great for me now...no more machines grinding
to a halt from dead sockets building up, and no sockets stuck in the CLOSE
state. What I _have_ found, however, is a possible NFS glitch. It only
happened once, and I'm not sure what circumstances triggered it, but here
it is:

I created a new user account on the server (home directories are NFS
mounted to a shell machine running Linux). On the Linux box, the newly
created home directory showed up, but any attempts to use it (as root or as
the owner) resulted in "Not a directory" errors. Doing an "ls -dl" on it
showed it to indeed be a directory, with the correct owner and group and
permissions, but I simply couldn't accesss it! Finally I just rm'd the
whole thing and recreated it, and all was well. Could this be a problem
with the new NFS caching?
