Correct. If you had /lib/cpp installed, then it should have worked. Are you
sure that you did a make distclean? Try removing linux/drivers/scsi/aic7xxx_seq.h
and rebuilding. If aic7xxx_seq.h just consists of a couple of lines, one of
which says "AIC7XXX_SEQ_VERSION ...." then the sequencer was not assembled
correctly. There should be a few hundred lines of bytes in ASCII hex format
in addition to "AIC7XXX_SEQ_VERSION ....".
