1.3.74 unuse_pmd errors

Every time I reboot My 1.3.74 Linux box, I get the following errors, just
after I get the message "Turning off swap"

unuse_pmd: bad pmd (000000e7)
unuse_pmd: bad pmd (004000e7)
unuse_pmd: bad pmd (008000e7)
unuse_pmd: bad pmd (00c000e7)

If anyone wants machine specific details etc., I can mail them, basically,
it's a 16Mb Pentium 90 from Simply Computers (a UK firm) with IDE.
