my first oops in a _long_ time...but in trying to compile 1.3.75, just as it
was about to make the kernel image, it errored out with the message that
"objdump --k illegal option". also it said that it needed more than just the
-l variable for line numbers. I am running an amd586-dx4-133 with 16 mb ram.
first try at compiling i chose 'pentium' and got this same error. second try
i went with '486' with the same result. can anyone help me? thank you in
advance.
