Also, it looks like the ftape people need to play with
their code. At least on the Iomega Ditto's 800 and 420 ftape
support is broken. I've tried to look into the code in my non-existant
spare time, but couldn't make it work even by hardcoding the right
tape parameters (yuck..)...but then again, I've posted about this
problem before. LAters,
