I think maybe this has been addressed before, so please bear with me on
this. I'm running 1.3.85, and beginning with 1.3.80, after the machine
sits idle for some time, the load average is a little over .5. My xload
shows about a quarter display of spiking constant load.

Is init doing this?

As soon as I do anything, uptime, ls, pwd, ps, etc... It drops right
back down. I don't feel that this is affecting anything adversely. I'm
just curious as to why this happens. Any comments are appreciated.

And BTW, thanks for all the input on my former module question.
