Hi,

At least since 1.3.83 there is a problem with loading the nfs module
via kerneld. The nfs module is loaded during loading the automounter.
The problem is that the 4(!) insmod processes are not terminated:

rwa@goliath:~$ ps ax|grep insmod
82 ? S 0:00 /sbin/insmod -k -s /lib/modules/1.3.84/fs/nfs.o
83 ? S 0:00 /sbin/insmod -k -s /lib/modules/1.3.84/fs/nfs.o
84 ? S 0:00 /sbin/insmod -k -s /lib/modules/1.3.84/fs/nfs.o
85 ? S 0:00 /sbin/insmod -k -s /lib/modules/1.3.84/fs/nfs.o
147 2 S 0:00 grep insmod

An strace -p <pid> terminate the insmod. This is very strange.
I hope somebody could find the reason and fix it.

tia,
ron
