: why, and what is 18 USC 1462?
This is the now-famous "Communications Decency Act," part of the
Telecommunications Bill which was recently signed into law. Among other
things, the bill prohibits discussion of abortion on the Internet. This
is something of a grey area, since a Phila. judge recently filed an
injunction against the law.
