Change in [request,free]_irq()

Can anyone document this change at all? What does it do and why was it
changed? All I can tell is that there's an extra parameter (void
*dev_id) being passed. This parameter doesn't seem to be documented
anywhere in the source tree.

As has been announced before, the change breaks DOSEMU-0.60.4. I posted
a patch earlier today, but it clearly doesn't work (compiles, but doesn't
do anything at all). Can someone take a look at this?
